Take a short trip with me to Dawson City, Canada. Have a look at how the "average, not for TV" miner gets gold. No staged arguments, breakdowns, or deadlines. No scripted drama, or ridiculous million ounce goals. Just average miners trying to make a few bucks and have a little fun doing it. The mining season lasts from May to the first of October, or as soon as the water freezes. The advertisement was added by YouTube because I used a copyrighted song. The Peel Watershed, a vast territory bordering the Arctic Circle in Canada’s Yukon province, has been called one of the last remaining untouched wilderness areas in the world. It’s the size of Ireland and the provincial government wants to open up large portions of the 26,000 square mile territory to mining. Caution: Coarse Language. An overview of this year's mining season. Music used is Heart Of Gold by Neil Young - not my content but everything else is from us. Another exciting year working for Dulac Mining, bring on 2016! www.dulacmining.com
A brief summary of Dulac Mining's 2017 season. The music featured is the Main Title from the 'A Million Ways To Die In The West' Motion Picture Soundtrack. Pictures and Videos are all ours except the old gold hill mining photo that you can find in almost any historical book or website on the area. Unfortunately there was a problem with the software and the video didn't publish with the same timing as it showed on my editing screen over the opening title and content that closely follows it. But it'll do!
A slideshow of most of our favourite photos and video clips from our first season working as heavy equipment operators working for Dulac Mining near Dawson City, Yukon, Canada. The song used is 'The Ecsatsy of Gold' by Ennio Morricone from 'The Good, The Bad And The Ugly' Soundtrack and this is not my content but all of the photos except one are my own.

Known as the “Paris of the North,” Dawson City was a cosmopolitan boomtown of 30,000 plus during the gold rush, filled with dance halls, theatres, brothels and saloons. Today, it retains its charm and history as a new wave of miners seek their fortune around its hills.
Freddy Dodge is a gold miner in Yukon Territory. He is 150 miles from the nearest town. And his mining season is limited to just 100 days. He doesn’t have the time or the resources to deal with equipment breakdowns. That’s why he jumped on the chance to use cleaner oil in his equipment. His marketer supplied him with Chevron ISOCLEAN Certified Lubricants. These premium lubricants are filtered to ISO cleanliness levels to remove harmful contaminants too small to see with the naked eye. Cleaner oil can minimize downtime, extend equipment life and improve profitability. Since using ISOCLEAN lubricants, Freddy has had no lubricants-related breakdowns in his three excavators, two wheel loaders, bulldozer and hydraulic-powered gold mine derocker plant.
